About the School

The International School of Acupuncture (ISA) is the educational division of the Hellenic Corporation of Chinese Medicine (HCCM), established in 2011. HCCM is an official member of the World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies (WFAS). Through ISA, we provide postgraduate education in acupuncture exclusively for healthcare professionals, combining the principles of Traditional East Asian Medicine with modern evidence-informed clinical practice.

Our Mission

Our Mission

Our mission is to promote the advancement and education of acupuncture and East Asian Medicine, integrating them into the professional practice of healthcare providers. We strive to bridge the gap between Eastern and Western medical traditions, fostering the effective use of acupuncture within clinical practice through the application of critical thinking and reasoning.

The Course

Our course is meticulously designed to encompass and honor all foundational principles, perspectives, and methodologies of Traditional Chinese Medicine, as practiced since ancient times. Additionally, we cover the neurobiological and biochemical responses induced by acupuncture, providing a scientific basis for its mechanisms. Evidence-based contemporary acupuncture techniques, such as trigger point Dry Needling, are also included.
